I started training for a Marathon (the NYC Marathon). I still don’t know if I’ll be able to do it, since it involves raising $2,500 bucks for my organization. But I am still going to train for it. I’m surprised how pleased I am with running. 2 weeks strong and I am still running regularly. I’ve hit my max of 6 miles this past weekend, will be at 8 miles by Sunday. I am super excited, because I am doing something I didn’t think I would be doing. I also feel super healthy (and super hungry!). Well thats it for now.

So… Can’t remember when the last time I updated, or even looked at tumblr… But I’m back, I hope. I dont even know if anyone still read this! But just a few quick updates…

1) I am employed! I worked my networking skills in NYC and boom, job! Its who you know, not what you know! or maybe IT IS what you know… if you know that meeting people is the best way of getting a job… HAHA. Thank you Grindr! 

2) I’m in a 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan, and I pay dirt cheap rent for NYC (ok… its in Harlem, but still Manhattan).

3) I’ve met tons of people, made very few friends. Still mostly hanging out with friends that moved up from Gainesville as well. I hope to break this trend this summer. So a ny New Yorkers wanna be my friend? I am fucking awesome! 

4) Its NYC pride this weekend, and I will be walking in the parade, thanks to my job. We have a float! :) 

5) Its been a great year… I am glad I moved up, even though I came with nothing.
